KID COLOR - CARDED & DISCARDED MIX

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this mix waiting for me in my inbox. I hadn't heard of Kid Color, so here's the low down: Kyle Woods is a DJ & producer from southern California, currently living in Chicago who spins electro, electronica, house, indie and hip hop. He's a resident DJ at the Deboniar Social Club in Chicago and started the "Blow the Speakers" event with the Dark Wave Disco DJ's.

This mix is full of some of my favorite singles, anyone who loves to mix Daft, Spank Rock and Kid Sis gets an A in my books. Basically every hit from the last little while is in this mix, conveniently packaged for your listening pleasure. This is a people pleaser for sure. Enjoy!

M.I.A ... I have no words. She's the best. I lost my voice that night. During 10$ girls got up on stage and got to jam right along side the one and only M.I.A. The fellas were let up for none other than Boyz, surprise! I guess she's retiring and this is her last tour? Props for going out while you're still on top. OH YA. M.I.A announced her engagement to Benjamin Brewer on Tuesday. All the best!

Kanye killed it. He captivated an arena full of people without any back up. Just Kanye and his hits. My personal favs of the night... Rhianna covering M.I.As Paper Planes! Even though half the place had no idea what was going on, the ones who did were in for a real treat. Also, N.E.R.D were completely insane, really entertaining.
